Ladies, we have a treat in store for you.  Fresh from Milan, The Philip George Salon has introduced a new brand of cosmetics into the 852 -MTJ and its first Asian collection Goldentears.

Brainchild of celebrity make-up artist Massimiliano Della Maggesa, otherwise known as Max The Joker (hence MTJ), the Goldentears collection was designed for strong, modern forward-thinking women, perfect for you Hong Kong hotties!  Max’s illustrious career notes Gianni Versace, The House of Missoni, and Alberta Ferretti as past clients, but most importantly he was senior make-up artist for Italy for M.A.C cosmetics.  Years of  countless celebrity clients, fashion shoots, world tours, and collaborations culminated in the creation of MTJ Cosmetics.

Last week saw the official Hong Kong launch of MTJ and its Goldentears range in Domani restaurant Pacific Place. Massimiliano was joined by renowned hairdresser, Nicola Baroni who helped create the total look by styling the models hair with Napura haircare products.

Every November men round the world are growing their moustaches to raise money for prostrate cancer, hence renaming November – Movember!

Christmas is the time of giving and forgiving, but how many of us actually give to those in need? This year Tiffany & Co. have teamed up with the awe inspiring Mothers Choice Charity to create Circle of Giving, A Legacy of Light, a series of events to raise money for those in need.

The chosen charity for Tiffanys kind fund raising is Mother’s Choice, which is a non-profit organisation aimed at helping Hong Kong’s single teenage mothers and their families cope with unexpected pregnancies.  This stems from assisting the young girls manage their unexpected situations, a child care home with orphanage, and foster care and adoption services for healthy infants and children with special needs.  Since its launch in 1987 Mother’s Choice has supported more than 35,000 young women facing crisis pregnancies, cared for more than 2,000 babies, seen 900 children adopted locally and assisted with the overseas adoption of another 225 children with special needs, 13 of those being in the past year alone.

The 1881 Heritage, Tiffany & Co. store will be the pivot of the seasonal celebrations which started at 8pm Tuesday 23 November with a special tree lighting ceremony with a chrtistmas choir to lumitate the stunning Tiffany inspired 10 foot chritsmas tree in the piazza.  To add to the seasonal cheer, Tiffany will be sponsoring musical performances at the tree for all to enjoy.
